Content Mission Statement
A single paragraph that defines who you write for, what you publish, and why it matters to your business — the north star every brief should reference.
Service · Editorial Strategy
An editorial strategy turns publishing decisions from guesswork into a clear, repeatable plan your whole team can follow.
A lot of content teams skip straight to writing. That works for a week, maybe a month — then the ideas dry up, the brief quality drops, and output slows to a crawl. Our Editorial Strategy service starts at the foundations: who are you trying to reach, what do they actually need to read, and how does your content connect to a business outcome your leadership cares about? We define your topic pillars — typically three to five core areas where your brand has real authority — and map out a publication cadence that's ambitious enough to matter but realistic enough to sustain. You leave the engagement with a documented content mission statement, a six-month topic map, and a brief template your writers can use immediately.
We start with a two-hour discovery workshop with your marketing lead and at least one content creator. We audit any existing content to find what's performing and what's not. From there, we draft your audience personas (typically two or three), map them to your content pillars, and build out the first 90 days of your editorial calendar. We then run a 60-minute walkthrough session with your team, answering questions and showing how the calendar connects to your analytics setup. The full engagement typically takes two to three weeks and produces a Notion or Google Workspace document pack your team owns and can edit from day one.
Concrete, documented outputs — not slides that get filed and forgotten.
